What is Liver Cancer?
Liver cancer refers to cancer that begins in the liver, known as primary liver cancer. Common types include hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC), cholangiocarcinoma (bile duct cancer), and angiosarcoma. Some cancers from other parts of the body can also spread (metastasize) to the liver—known as secondary liver cancer. Because liver cancer is rising in Australia and is now among the top ten causes of cancer death, coordinated multidisciplinary care is especially critical. Learn more: Liver Cancer
